Clinical Research at Thompsons Road Physiotherapy

We are conducting clinical research at Thompsons Road Physiotherapy.

COVID19 and social distancing rules have altered people’s lifestyle significantly – exercise routines have changed and activity levels have shifted as gyms have closed and other exercise groups and services have been suspended. This means that for most Victorians the past three months have looked very different compared to usual in terms of physical activity and fitness.

At TRP we are interested to explore and understand how COVID19 restrictions have impacted the health of our exercise rehabilitation clients. We are conducting a study to explore health and exercise behaviours during the lockdown period in Victoria, and the subsequent outcomes for clients as they return to their regular activities over the coming months.

Study participation is entirely voluntary and involves completing an online survey that takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
The study is only for our current (pre-COVID) exercise rehabilitation clients.

If you would like to know more about the study, or would like to participate in it, please contact our physiotherapist Andy Smythe, who is conducting the research: andy@trpphysio.com.au
