Our physiotherapist managed exercise programs are designed to get you feeling, moving and living better, supported by a small and welcoming community that celebrates your personal goals.

Yoga
Experience mindful movement, improved mobility, stability and tranquillity through our diverse yoga classes.

Our yoga classes offer something for everyone. Whether you’re drawn to the gentle flow, invigorating sequences or e foundational poses , our classes cater to all levels, ages and abilities for those in good general health.

How it works

Beginners are encouraged to start at their own pace, immersing themselves in more accessible poses guided by our skilled instructors that offer options at every level.

For specific health concerns, we recommend an assessment with our physiotherapists before joining the class.

We offer two types of yoga classes:

Gentle Flow Yoga

A smooth and gentle style of modern yoga, with a more considered approach to transitions between poses. A slower style to Vinyasa The class is intended for building mobility and strength in a slow and deliberate way, as well as exploring breathing exercises and relaxation to counter the modern lifestyle.

Suitability: For all levels of yoga. Also suitable for those new to yoga.

Hatha Yoga

This 60-minute class, with slow and gentle movements between sustained holds is an ideal way to reduce tension, improve mobility and leave you feeling re-energised.

Poses are instructed with options to modify the level of intensity to suit your ability and needs, so you feel safe working at your level. Excellent for stress management
and enhancing physical performance.

Suitability: For all levels of yoga. Also suitable for those new to yoga.

Pilates
A gentle yet impactful starting point for your rehabilitation journey
How it works

With the capacity for progression to accommodate all physical levels and pilates equipment from Bosu balls and wobble boards; to Swiss balls, therabands, weights and exercise bikes.

Pilates Matwork

Intended to strengthen your core and other key muscles, enhance postural awareness, and improve mobility with low impact exercise. You will make use of small equipment including massage balls, straps, chi balls and resistance bands.

Suitability: For all levels of experience, with modifications offered for exercises, so you can work at your level.
A great addition to exercise rehabilitation classes, for managing spinal pain or as part of your fitness routine. An ability to get on/off the floor is required.

What to Expect

Our studio is a welcoming and well-equipped space to build strength and confidence. Remember to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle and a small towel and we will provide the mats and equipment.

How it works

SOZO uses ImpediMed’s Bioimpedance Spectroscopy cutting-edge technology, to measure impedance at 256 frequencies.

This accurately tracks critical information about your body to aid the management of chronic disease, lymphoedema or weight loss management. It is non-invasive and fast.

SOZO us useful for:

Lymphedema assessment and screening (L-Dex) for early detection, treatment monitoring and education.

Early detection of lymphoedema means simpler at home treatments with a significantly lower progression to chronic lymphoedema. It is more precise and reliable than a tape measure.

Body Composition Assessment for weight loss management and/or tracking muscle mass.

Comprehensive fluid, tissue and metabolic analysis of the human body with a personalised picture of your fluid, muscle and fat. This allows setting healthy targets for fat loss whilst maintaining or increasing muscle mass/strength.

What to Expect

Make an appointment for a SOZO scan. For more accurate results, avoid eating, or exercising 2 hours prior to the scan.
After measuring your height and weight, you simply need to stand on the device with bare hands and feet. The test takes 30-60 seconds.

Your Physiotherapist will explain and discuss the results at your next in-person or telehealth consultation with recommendations and/or a review of your health and fitness goals provided.

Massage
Remedial massage offers a sanctuary to unwind from busy, fast-paced lives and as an adjunct to your physiotherapy and rehabilitation to promote recovery
How it works

Remedial massage not only addresses soft tissue conditions but fosters deep relaxation through techniques like massage and trigger point therapy promoting a sense of calm. 

Our skilled massage therapists use a hands-on approach that not only releases tension and alleviates muscle pain but provides space for clients to disconnect from the challenges of everyday life.

We advocate for regular treatments alongside wellbeing classes to maintain this state of equilibrium, recognising that taking time for yourself is an important aspect of a balanced and fulfilling life.
